Facebook keeps stopping
People spend several hours every day on Facebook. Facebook has become a part of our daily life. When Facebook keeps stopping problem arises, the addicted users start to panic. Here, we are going to discuss some fixes for the problem Facebook keeps stopping.

Check if Facebook is down?

Many times, Facebook is down due to various reasons. If this is the issue, then wait till it starts working properly again.

Check if there is any update

Look for any recent app update. Go to the Play Store app on your Android phone and check for an update. If you find any update, update it.

Clear RAM

Close all running apps and then open Facebook to see if it is working. Go to Settings and click on Device Care. Click on the option called RAM.

Reboot your device

Reboot your smartphone to solve a lot of issues. You can also force reboot if you are unable to quit the app. Simply press and hold the power and volume down button on your Smartphone to reboot.

See if there is any app conflict

Many times, some apps conflict with others resulting in app crashes and many other issues. If you have recently installed a new app, then it’s a possibility that there is an app conflict. Uninstall the newly installed app and see if the issue is resolved.

May be data usage is restricted

Many times, data restrictions create these issues. This feature, allows you to control whether the Facebook app can use mobile data or only Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet.

Force quit Facebook

When the Facebook app stops working as intended, users are unable to quit the app. Facebook app stops responding, and you cannot hit the back button. In this situation, you need to force quit the app. Go to Settings and click on Apps. Find Facebook list of installed apps and open it. Click the Force stop option at the bottom of the screen. Relaunch the app and see if the issue is resolved.

Check battery saver mode

Battery Saver Mode keeps power-consuming apps in check and force close them if there is a need. But many times, it closes those apps also that you are actively using. Go to Settings and open Battery & performance. Tap on Choose apps. Find Facebook and open it. Remove the aggressive mode.

Clear cache

Go to the Facebook app settings, and click on Clear data. Force quit the app again. Clear all data and Clear cache one-by-one and check the Facebook app now.

Reinstall app

Uninstall your current version of Facebook. From the Play Store, reinstall it. Doing this, new files will be created and possibly overwrite the corrupted files. This process will clear all data and cache files from the internal memory of your phone.

Reset app preferences

On Resetting app preferences, you simply change all settings back to default one. This doesn’t lose any app data. If still you face any issue, feel free to take the help of customer support.
